£3.5 millions to revitalise Stoke-on-Trent city centre

Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Public Realm

Helping to reconstruct roads and pavements and provide new street lighting and furniture, this project has given the city centre a new facelift, with the EU contributing £3.5 million since 2013 to this ongoing project that is revitalising the centre's shopping district.

The word is out!

On a canvas of wonderful new public realm an increasingly vibrant Stoke-on-Trent City Centre is arising: The Hive with seven new restaurants and cinema complex; new independent cafes and brasseries re-energising the Cultural Quarter; a new Premier Inn, already planning on expansion, and a 4 star international Hilton hotel on the way; two brand new Smithfield office blocks bringing in more than 1700 new workers;  another hotel and an IMAX cinema; businesses proactively taking the city centre forward together through a dedicated Business Improvement District; ... Just some of the recent announcements and new developments hitting our city centre.
